Russia will supply software in China

Moscow and Beijing have agreed to expand the supply of Chinese servers and storage systems in Russia and Russian software in China, the head of the Ministry of Communications Nikolai Nikiforov

Nikiforov in Beijing held a working meeting with the Minister of Industry and Information Technology Miao Wei of China and Head of Media Management Tsai Fuchang.

“We agreed to expand the supply of Chinese servers, storage systems and other products in Russia and Russian software in China,” - said Nikiforov to Twitter.

“China and Russia have consistently called for a transparent multilateral model of management of critical resources of the Internet infrastructure,” - he added.

Recall that the partnership between Russia and China has been given a new impetus in May, during a visit to Shanghai, President Vladimir Putin, when, after 10 years of difficult negotiations, Russia and China signed a contract to supply 38 billion cubic meters of gas annually for 30 years at $ 400 billion.

The parties also entered into a number of major infrastructure projects, in particular agreed on a joint project to build a new long-range wide-body aircraft and helicopter carrying up to 15 tons.
